Movie-Fest 2011 Competition #2: Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes


Alright Movie-Fest'ers. Next competition. A $20 iTunes voucher - presentable upon attendance at Movie-Fest - will be awarded to the person who first emails me (daniel underscore mcclelland at hotmail dot com) the answer to these questions: 

  1. Which Movie-Fest film has the highest score on Rotten Tomatoes?
  2. And which has the second-highest score?
  3. Which has the highest aggregated score on Metacritic?

    This competition has now closed. The answers follow below:

    1) The highest ranked Movie-Fest film on Rotten Tomatoes is 'Freaks', with a whopping-great aggregated score of 93% - read about it here

    2) And the second-highest on the same site is 'Rango', with an aggregated score of 88% - Check it here

    3) Meanwhile, on Metacritic (a bit harsher with scores usually), the highest ranked Movie-Fest film is 'Submarine' with an aggregated score of 76 out of 100, based on 37 critics' reviews: Submarine's Metacritic score is here
